Jesus did not rise from the dead to return to the life he had. He rose from the dead to GIVE NEW LIFE. Jesus was raised to a new glorified life. His resurrection is the sign of the new creation. The story is not over. Revelation brings us the picture of a new heaven and a new earth where God makes everything new.
Revelation 21:1
“Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth.”
Jesus rose.
