The selected picture for todays FUN FRIDAY! is a picture of the Eagle Scout Mentor Pin. I was selected to receive this honorary pin by a scout who recently received his Eagle Scout Award.

I do have a parent pin that I received from my oldest son last year at his Eagle ceremony. Of course that is special and means a lot to me.

This mentor pin is also very special to me. The award means that the scout who selected me to receive this pin thinks of me as someone special who helped him earn his Eagle Award.

This award not only was a surprise but it humbled me as well. For that I am grateful. I will cherish this moment. Thank you Taylor!
