Pit stops are important. Everything needs maintenance and in the case of racing, the car needs fuel and tires to keep going. It used to be the Nascar Hauler truck driver and anyone who was willing to stand in to help change a tire, would jumped in. As a result of the Wood Brothers revolutionizing the pit stop in the early 60’s, pit stop times dropped into the 40 second range. They did this by specializing in people specific for the job. Nascar Teams strategized and recognized the need to put FULL TIME effort and focus into planning and achieving new Goals. Pit stop numbers are integral to winning the race! Ten years ago a pit stop with a time of 12.8 seconds was fantastic. Today, Teams run combines to find the top athletes to be on the Pit Crew. With the introduction of safety of only one lug nut, pit stop times are now less than 10 seconds.

This is my team. My Family team. That I have built with my wife and we all did it together. Today I am show casing my kids. They got the fastest pit stop of the day, at the Nascar Hall of Fame. The did it by being a TEAM.
