Have you ever heard a story and you just know it’s Him?

There isn’t question, you just know it’s Him.
There isn’t doubt, you just know it’s Him.
There isn’t waiting, you just know it’s Him.
There isn’t fear, you just know it’s Him.

Recently, I heard a first hand account story from a family member and there is no other explanation other than:

You just know it’s Him!

A father and his two boys where at the pool with some friends. The boys are 14 and 7. The 14-year-old Isaac, was born with a condition called Hurler’s disease. Hurler’s disease is a genetic disorder that is caused by an enzyme deficiency. It causes damage to tissues and organs and across the board developmental deformities in the body and includes mental development issues as well. Isaac has been immobile for 2 years. However, the pool is a place where he has always excelled. Even when he was walking, his mobility was greater in the pool.

Isaac used to be able to go to the bottom of the pool to grab an object and bring himself back to the surface and rebalance himself pulling his head out of the water. As his mobility has declined, he can now only get his body back to the surface and needs assistance to get his head back out of the water to breathe.

The father and the two boys where in the pool with their friends and one father was talking to the other. Isaac’s father got engaged in the conversation with the other father and when he looked back to Isaac’s float, Isaac was gone. Very quickly, he began scanning the water looking for Isaac. As he refocused back to the surface, there was Isaac being hauled across the pool by his 7-year-old brother Miles with Isaac’s arms over his brother’s shoulders.

The father asked Miles. “How did you know to go get your brother under the water?” Miles answered,

“God told me.”
