Why does it matter that the Truth, the Heart, and Character reflect the same?
What is the Truth?
The Truth is in the Heart.
There is Truth. Why then, do we have disagreements? Why then, are some people’s truth different than others?=NOT Unity
I suggest, that the answer to this question is quite simple. Self is at the root of the problem.
Adam’s heart was full of sin and self. He diverted the truth by blame. “The woman you put here with me-she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”
Eve’s heart was full of sin and self. She diverted the truth also by blame. “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
The Truth is in our Heart with our Obedience to God.
The Truth is in our Heart, through our Faith in Him.
The Truth is measured by our Heart is God’s standard.

Where is the Heart?
The Heart Bares what you Believe.
The Heart is not just about emotion.
The Heart is the core of who we are.
The Heart is the center of the person’s will.
The Heart is the core of the person’s thoughts.
The Heart is the root of the person’s moral character.
Proverbs 4:23 – “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Who is your Character?
Character is the outworking of the Truth in the Heart. Character is Truth in action
Character is the visibility of your Heart.
Character is the witness of your choices.
Character is the outcome of your choices.
Character is the reflection of God’s Truth, from your Heart, through your actions.
Character is Jesus.
Titus 2:7 – “In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness.”
Why it Matters.
If Truth, Heart and Character are not in Unity, then we are living in conflict. Often, we are quite blind to this notion. Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth prevent us from seeing the Truth, poisoning our hearts, reflecting in our character.
The only chance we have for Unity for ALL, starts within US. If we do not have the Truth and our heart is broken, our Character will reflect this hypocrisy.
Unity within ourself and God, only happens when:
• We believe God’s Truth
• We love it from our Heart
• We live it through our Character
Romans 8:29 “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son…”
1 John 2:6 “Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.”
Philippians 2:5-8 “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus… He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!”
It Matters because God Loves you in Truth.
It Matters because God wants your Heart to be perfect and pure.
It Matters because we are to be like Jesus.
