This past Tuesday, my wife Grace and I officially know each other for 30 years. We met at my friend’s house and we have been building on our foundation of love ever since. As part of our celebration, we were able to visit the place where we met. My friends’ parents still live in the same house. We just stopped in, and surprised them. It was great to see them and celebrate with them. It’s hard to believe it’s been 30 years. We have BIG gratitude for what we have built – from the ground up! It started with love. Love is the key ingredient that has built our family.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NIV
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.
