Yesterday I was talking to this lady and I just wanted to tell her how incredible our God is. The reason I didn’t tell her, is the conversation was centered around abuse. I didn’t want to come off as insensitive or even immature. Phil holding his tongue? Now that is BIG.
Have you ever experienced something good in the midst of someone else’s pain? Doesn’t that sound awful? It happens to me more than you think. When I work with men who are in recovery for sex addiction and they share their pain with me and I help them….that’s an example of when this overwhelming gratitude happens.
This weekend I was thinking about sickness and death. Have you ever been to the hospital or a funeral and see the hope? Do you know what I am talking about?
