Yesterday my header picture (click the link to see) represented how off the rails in a good way, I felt about the work I am doing for Give Your Story. The header from today’s picture, is what I found in my hotel room last night.
Some of you might think, “Oh how neat!” Some of you might think, “That is a coincidence.” This is what I think. There are no coincidences. That’s what I believe.
I believe coincidences are God’s mysteries at work.
When I saw the picture in my hotel room, my first instinct wasn’t to think “Oh that’s a coincidence.” Instead, my first instinct was to think, “This is God, giving me a message.” What is the message you say?

What does Back on Track look Like?
For each of us this mean something different.
For me this means write.
So today I thought I would write about how Jesus demonstrated how to handle anger with respect.
Let’s read:
Matthew 21:12-16 NIV
Jesus at the Temple
12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[a] but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’[b]”
14 The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. 15 But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant.
16 “Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.
“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,
“‘From the lips of children and infants
you, Lord, have called forth your praise’[c]?”
I find it quite curious that following this corrective scripture of the Priests, are shouts of Joy from the children.
You see, those in the temple where doing wrong. They were not obeying God. Jesus called them out on their behavior. Then he handled them like children. He corrected them – HE SHOWED THEM. Even though the Priests were indignant, His demonstration to the children is the Example.
