This is a story about an angry man. He didn’t start out that way.

The man was born into the typical middle class American family scenario. The family consisted of Mom, Dad and two boys spanning 3 years difference in age.

When the youngest boy was just 7, The father became very ill. Within 4 months of his illness, he passed from this earth, leaving his wife and 2 boys.

The youngest boy was very confused and he became angry. The boy’s Mother did the best she could do, doing everything she could do to continue to provide for her two boys. However, the young boy was still very confused and angry.

Soon, sex was introduced to the young boy by an older boy. The boy was even more confused and angry. Several years later, the boy’s Youth Pastor would use his power and authority to take advantage of the boy: grooming him and sexually molesting him. The boy was even more confused and angry.

The boys view on life was: God and this world and its people, took from him.

The boy would grow into a successful business man and start a family – bringing his abusive past along with him. His Anger raged and came out sideways in his marriage and with his family. Little did the man realize he was TAKING just like the people who took from him.

Sex addiction and bipolar disorder were now a large presence in the man’s life. It was a recipe for an explosive disaster.

The man knew what he was doing was wrong, and by the Grace of God, in the depths of the pit, he fell to his knees and asked God for help. God answered the man’s prayer. God said to the man “It’s going to be OK”

And the man immediately went to work to HEAL. He quickly found the solution to ALL his problems.

GET OUT OF SELF.

And the healing began.

But, there was More. The man used the tools God had provided him with, to continue to heal. However, the man could not ditch his anger. He fought and fought and would loose the battle every-time-always falling to rage at some point.

Although the man was struggling in his Healing, the man continued to pray for More! He knew there was More! The man continued to do the work to Heal. Although what he was being shown was a path to health, the man’s underlying thought process was: The solution to his problems was to fix his sex life. He pressed on trying to find his way out of the mess!

The man wanted to fix his problems and although things were getting better, he knew there was More! He pushed on in his search, continuing to pray and lean on the Faith that was inside him, that drove him. He prayed to God to show him More!

The man’s heart was finally ready to meet Him. Who you ask?

JESUS!

The man’s vision began to shift More from being a taker to being a GIVER.

The journey has been happening for 22 years. It’s been a fight. Jesus and the man have won the battle together and the man is now FREE. The man has developed a relationship with Jesus and Jesus has provided

THE SOLUTION.

The man’s biggest tool of healing?

GIVE MORE!
