What does it mean to weld?
Here is the definition of weld that most of us would run too – Join together (metal pieces or parts) by heating the surfaces to the point of melting using a blowtorch, electric arc, or other means and uniting them by pressing, hammering etc.
Here is the alternate – Cause to combine and form a harmonious or effective whole
Proverbs 27:17 NIV
17 As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another.
What does this mean? Iron sharpens Iron. Iron does not sharpen cloth. It means, that one person sharpens another. How is this done? It is done through work. It is done by support, it is done by setting boundaries, it is done by asking for change. It is done by self-reflection; it is done by changing self. It is done by demonstration. It is done by leading by example. This gives you 8, which is new beginnings and a fresh start!
