That is a great question. Why is it so Good? And… I really want to answer it. First, you might ask, what is so good? Then, you have to ask, what is the root of this question?
Recently, I made a statement here at Give Your Story. “This is the best job I ever had.” That is what is so good. And that is the root of this question: Why is it so good?
Here is Why it is so Good!
Writing is a primary method I use to communicate with God. Give Your Story is my Spiritual Connection to Him! Give Your Story is so many things good.
Give Your Story Represents Hope
This is the hope that was given to me on a journey that began when I was just seven years old, after my father died.
This is the hope I clung to as a kid who didn’t understand what was happening – or what would happen next.
This is the hope that the void I was trying to fill would one day be completed with a definite forever and always.
This is the hope that a broken 30-year-old man received when God spoke to him and said, “It will be okay.”
This is the hope I leaned on as I began doing the work to become a better person.
This is the hope I saw as I started to repair my marriage.
This is the hope I was given to become a better parent.
This is the hope that there was MORE.
This is the hope that, in my search for more, He showed me Jesus.
This is the hope He revealed would be BIG.
This is the hope that it would be FULL.
This is the hope that the FRUIT becomes the HARVEST.
Give Your Story is Meaningful
Give Your Story means the lost and confused boy is no longer lost and confused.
Give Your Story means I am no longer afraid of the future; instead, I live in the moment with great hope for the future.
Give Your Story means I have received my forever and always.
Give Your Story means “It is okay.”
Give Your Story means I have done the work to be a better person.
Give Your Story means I have repaired my marriage.
Give Your Story means I am a better parent.
Give Your Story means there is always MORE.
Give Your Story means I have Jesus.
Give Your Story means He is BIG.
Give Your Story means He is FULL.
Give Your Story means the FRUIT is the HARVEST.
Give Your Story is so Good
It is good because I am free.
It is good because I do not know what is going to happen next, and I trust Him – that it will be good.
It is good because my God gave me Jesus – my forever and always. Amen!
It is good because it is not just “okay” – it is good!
It is good because, while I always have more work to do, I am a better person today than I was yesterday.
It is good because my marriage is thriving.
It is good because I am a good parent.
It is good because I get to be part of MORE – Spreading the Word.
It is good because I have Jesus—and I can show Him to you.
It is good because He is BIG, and no matter how big or small my part is, I share the same Grace He extends to you.
It is good because He has transformed me from fool to FULL.
It is good because the FRUIT is plenty. I get to share the fruit with you in the form of HARVEST.
IT IS GOOD.
