The pain
The hurt
The anger
The depression
The exhaustion
The cost
Who wants it? Do you? Certainly, not I. This is indubitably not something that I signed up for. I did know satan was heading my way, but I had no freakin clue what I was about to witness.
Satan. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. I have witnessed when satan is present. Now it is even more clear to me, when the serpent is present. God has given me discernment to recognize the enemies presence quickly. In addition to identify the destroyer. I can unclothe the father of lies.
1 Peter 4:13 – “Rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ.”
- When we suffer for Christ, we share in His story, His strength, and His glory.
- Joy is not found in the absence of trials, but in the nearness of Jesus through them.
NO! I am not feeling the Joy right now. There are still two immediate hurdles to suffer through. Then, there is the longer road. I am not sure where the joy will find me. I will say this.
I will wait patiently in the pain with Hope for the Joy of Jesus to Shine.
