Where’s The Fun?

This week, I definitely had some fun. Until I didn’t. The bottom line is, sometimes when your job sucks and things at home don’t align, and it all piles sup on you in less than an hour, it leaves you sitting there asking WTF?

Where’s The Fun?

When things suck, many people just say, “Thank God It’s Friday!” and trudge through the day wishing their lives away. However, I am asking where. Where’s The Fun? Why? I don’t want to wait until the end of the day on Friday to have fun.

I want to have fun in the moment!

The fun has to start somewhere right? If I am looking for it, I am most likely going to find it! Because if I don’t find it, I am certainly going to make it – Because that is just what I do!

FUN!

If you can’t find the fun then you have to make it. When you make the fun, it gives you hope. How do we get hope to make it not suck? We make it hopeful with fun! We take the suck and make hope with fun.

Fun With Purpose.

Here is my vision of Fun With Purpose. Fun With Purpose is taking things that suck and working through them as best we can but having fun with it along the way. This produces hope that things will stop sucking! That way, instead of “things sucking”, you are having FUN!

Here are some examples:

Stuck in traffic? Play the alphabet game.
It’s raining at your outdoor event? Commit to getting wet and go for it.
Stuck in an airport? The worst! – Find a fellow passenger and make jokes about the situation.

So I dare you this weekend! I hope you don’t have to make a sucky situation fun. But if you do! Just ask…
