Here We Go-go!
Mindset is just that. A person’s usual thinking, attitude or outlook.
Example:
Are you a glass half full or a glass half empty kinda person? Or in other words. Do you have a positive mindset, or do you have a negative mindset?
There are a lot of different kinds of mindsets. Here a few examples of negative and positive mindsets:
Negative Mindsets:
Fearful – constantly envision the worse case scenario lacking the ability to trust anything better can happen.
Lazy – lack motivation and feel more comfortable leaving things where they are.
Angry – everything makes you angry. Anger is in the driver’s seat and you lash out at others hurting others and often self.
Positive Mindsets:
Growth – resilience to keep working through challenges further developing self.
Gratitude – remaining grounded in hard times finding the positive in the moment. Celebrating the good times relishing the current circumstances.
Helpful – taking any opportunity to help someone.
Do you have a Loving Mindset?
What if we looked at love as a mindset? What if we were that person that took loving actions regardless of the circumstances? What if we were able to look at a person and instead of asking, “What can they do for me?” We ask, “What can I do for them?” How can I be helpful? How can I be of service? How can I show them love?
What if instead of judging people and responding with anger, pride and selfishness, we chose to respond with kindness and patience. And we ask.
What would love do right now?
Now we are getting somewhere. A loving mindset is one that looks like Jesus…
Philippians 2:5
5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
- Jesus did not use equality for His own advantage.
- Jesus Served was foremost His focus.
- Jesus was humble in obedience to God.
- Jesus gave.
- Jesus loved.
Jesus even loved those who rejected Him.
Let me introduce you to the Jesus Mindset.
The question isn’t whether you have a negative or positive mindset. The question is, do you have a loving mindset?

Or
Are you stuck in growth, gratitude and helpfulness with the hope that your thinking will more likely produce a loving mindset?
