DON’T BE SO SLOPPY!
Hey! If you’re going to follow scripture would you please follow scripture!
Have you ever wondered why the religious leaders only wanted to bring the adulterous woman to justice? Why didn’t the religious leaders try to stone the man?
Here is the law of Moses:
“If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife… both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.” (Leviticus 20:10)
He protects HER.
Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. The battle is not yours, but God’s. Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
