We are in the middle of a great sermon series at our church. My Pastor hasn’t called it a series yet, but it has turned into one. At least for me. My Pastor has been preaching on different topics that includes discussion about Spiritual Gifts. We also have been talking about Spiritual Gifts in our Sunday School class. The answers keep coming for me. One of the answers was reinforced this week when my Pastor shared a picture of a beautiful fall scene that had a road in the middle of it. It is very similar to the header picture that has been up on my site since late May 2024. The difference between the two pictures? The picture that my Pastor shared this Sunday has different clarity.

When you are FREE and you can SEE, it truly is amazing. You can see God working. He lets you in on his mysteries!
Also, You might be asking “Hey Phil! Why the heck did you just add Short Stories to the menu and not tell us that you were going to do it? What is that all about? I thought we were going to talk about gifts?” We are! I am trying to help you see. Sometimes we need to reflect after an event in order to gain its true magnitude. I gave you short Stories and waited to tell you about it on purpose. I wanted to help you see. I HOPE you LOVE it and it helps you SEE!! Of course, there will be many more short stories. I can’t wait because I think I finally found a method to be able to “download my thoughts” quickly so you can follow along and not have to wait so long. I will say this though: Sometimes waiting is just what God needs from us. The Gift of Patience?

If you recall, I was celebrating. I was celebrating because I could see. See what? See God working. Not only in my life, but all around me. I then gave all the submenu-reasons I was celebrating. The sub reasons where the reasons I could see. SEE IT? Let me put it all together for you just in case you aren’t following me.
The online forum I hang out in had an epiphany. Abused people are healing. Our Sunday School class has become this powerful place of edification for ALL who are in our group. Last but not least my friend called me a “hack” which I found extremely funny and now I am learning to type correctly. That’s exciting and ALL worth celebrating! For me the bigger ticket item is the fact that I can SEE ALL this! When I see ALL this, answers are given to me. Then, I get to GIVE them to you! Now how awesome is that!? Let me repeat that: I GET TO GIVE TO YOU!

I am not a scholar, nor do I claim to be. I am a man who has been blessed by God who was given a message to deliver to you. I am going to GIVE you the layman’s version of the story he GAVE me. God, thank you for providing the wonderful people in my life to represent you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to use the gifts you have given me for the better of ALL. Please be with me and my readers as we learn together about your word. Please give me the strength to share in a “down to earth” manner so that ALL can understand and SEE your LOVE.
