Hey Everyone! I just got off the phone with Wayne! I had this thought that I don’t know why I didn’t think of until today. If Shirley could call him 2 weeks ago why can’t I call him today? Plus I had another great idea. So I called and Wayne didn’t answer so I left him voicemail. I got all up in my serious business method for some reason and I asked him on voicemail if he was available this Sunday to watch the race together. The funny thing is, as I was asking if he was available I busted out laughing – like he is going to be going somewhere, right? He called me back about 15 minutes later. He sounded great and he says he feels a lot better and he is not in pain. His stamina is about 25%. Today he stood up 7 times with assistance. He says it nocks the wind out of him. When we were talking, he when into gratitude and talked about all the cards and prayers and I felt the hand of God as we talked. It was so awesome. We talked for about 20 minutes. My son and I are going to head on over to the long term care facility Sunday night and watch the race with him. I am so excited. Wayne is still on a long haul recovery but, what a miracle! I am so happy. Thank you Jesus!
I will take a moment to ask you for a quick moment of prayer for me as well. First I need to just be still. Something I am not too good at. It is important that I take it very seriously to just be still. Second I am on a heavy dose of antihistamine. I broke out in an itch last night, oddly it is mostly on my right side with a focus on my left leg although I can feel it in my left arm and left leg as well. I have hives on my right leg and my eyes are itchy too. Not sure whats up with that as I am not aware I got into anything like poison ivy or something like that. We had some fertilizer put down on Wednesday which could be a source and or I had a steak that was a little under cooked last night and I just rolled with it. Not sure what the deal is. Hoping this heads the other direction soon.
Thank you all for your prayers and here is the link to the Prayer Trail
