Yesterday I wrote a post called, The Convo. During The Convo, a frog jumps out. It is a pleasant disruption to The Convo. It becomes the answer that our friend is looking for. The frog represents creation and is recognized as a sign of God. The frog becomes the feeling of emotion that was being sought.
Did you miss it? Do you miss it? What jumps out at you during the day? What are you looking for? Where is your focus? Are you just waiting for God, or are you Intentional Today?
As a dare this morning, I was going to write about celebration. It is what jumped out at me. But then, the word FUN jumped out at me and I thought I might put those two topics together as that would be FUN! If you know anything about me, FUN is my favorite. I believe God likes to have FUN for us and with us. I totally believe that God has a sense of humor. If he didn’t, why would he have created laughter? Instead of writing about FUN, I became moved to write about being Intentional Today.
Being Intentional Today is imperative to being able to grab God’s presence. Why was the frog the answer to the yearning in The Convo? Was it because God put it there? Or was it because our friend was being Intentional? His mind was open to receiving God. You could argue he was looking for it. The Convo provided him space to see God,(the frog) witness God,(the frog) and feel God.(emotion connected to the event)
I share with others often, how I experience God. For me it is a regular occurrence. For this am I grateful. You might ask, why does this happen for you and not me? I honestly cannot answer that question for you. What I can tell you is, I am Intentional Today. He has provided me with a special relationship with Him. It is just for me. He wrapped it and gave it to me. That Gift is Jesus. Once I met Him, I wanted more! If you were to ask me how I got to where I am today with my relationship with God, I would simply Give you my Story. In that story, is a bunch of work and BIG Faith. However, the real answer is, I was seeking. I was being intentional. An opportunity got my attention, and provided for me, the chance to explore Him. I had an open mind. I was Intentional Today.

Ask, Seek, Knock
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
If we are Intentional Today about seeking God rather than waiting for God, it is so much easier to Connect with Him and Know Him.
As I have grown my Faith, I have become more Intentional in seeking Him.
