BIG PRAYER TRAIL

It has been WAY too long since I had a Prayer Trail. Well over a month. It’s not that I have not been praying, its just I have been busy trying to keep up. Actually…Prayer should stay on the top of my list and I should be neglecting something else instead. However, today I am moved to prayer and I am so moved to share it with you as well. There are lots of prayers needed right now and the first one is HEAVY DUTY

Exodus Salongo 3 year old Little Boy – My friend called me Monday to tell me about a horrid accident he witnessed at his church’s fall festival. As the day was ending the last hay wagon ride was returning to the church, my friend along with many others witnessed a 3 year old boy fall out of the wagon in between the tractor and the wagon. The wagon full of people, drove over the little boy. My friend saw the entire thing happen. To his dismay after the wagon had cleared the little boy actually sat up and looked right at my friend. His face was crushed by the wagon. It is a sight that can not be unseen. Amazingly, the little boy does not have brain damage but is obviously in for a very long haul in recovery. THIS IS HEAVY DUTY FOLKS. WE NEED A PRAYER WARRIOR! This one pulls the air from my lungs. Please pray for Exodus.

Kevin – Kevin is my friend who witnessed the little boy wagon incident. He told me that he is struggling with what he witnessed. He told me it is a sight you can’t unsee. He had to take a day off work to process it. He has children of his own and as a parent myself, I can see how this cuts like a knife. Prayer is of utmost importance while being in gratitude for Gods grace on Exodus and our own children.

Jack – Jack was cutting down a large tree this past Sunday and the tree fell on him. He spent the night in the hospital with 8 broken ribs and fluid on his lungs. I am sure he is in a good amount of pain and will be for sometime. I am told he is in good spirits and his wife sent me a picture from the ER and he had a faint smile on his face as he was displaying the bruising down his right side.

Trish – Trish is in our Sunday school class and had her ankle fused last week. She was in Sunday School and had a leg support scooter. Prayers for her recovery and that she doesn’t run any one over with her scooter!

Wayne – We have been praying for Wayne since May. We spoke to Shirley his wife, last week. I have not been able to get over to the house to see Wayne. Shirley reported that Wayne is still struggling to eat and gain weight. This is not new news. She gets him out to the doctor but he still gets tired very quickly. I tried to call him today but have not spoken to him yet. Continued prayers for Wayne.

Unspoken prayers for woman I am in a group forum with – One lady is looking for prayers to keep her family together as she was nearing a divorce with her husband when he made some big changes that indiacte they might be able to repair their marriage. Please pray for her situation. It involves housing in order to keep the family together.

Unspoken Praise for another woman from the forum I am part of. She has been searching for a job for over 6 months and she finally is in the home stretch! I am so happy for her.

Unspoken prayer for a woman and her daughter and parents/grandparents moving out of the country. Tough situation regarding lack of communication around this topic. Prayers for a hurting daughter and granddaughter.

Praise for my Mom – My Mom was in the hospital for two weeks and is home now caring for herself. We have lots of work to do to keep her out of the hospital and continued preparation for aging.
