FUN FRIDAYS! – Be Intentional.

In the last week, I have come to the conclusion and acceptance, that I still struggle with rejection on some level. I ask myself – “Really Phil?” “All the work you have done and that was 46 years ago. “And I am still affected?” It does tell the story, how BIG of an IMPACT loss of life has and its effect on children and others. My story of loosing my father at just 7 years old, while in itself is sad, doesn’t even compare to many who suffer stories that are horrendously much worse than the hand dealt to me.

This fear plays out in my daily life through patterns that show up in my relationship with my wife. When we hit a season of unconnectedness, I feel it to my core. By the Grace of God, what used to be eventful reactions, today, is just a period of disconnection. While that can be uncomfortable, it is for sure better to tell you, it’s just unconnectedness. The solution?

Be Intentional.

My wife and I took 2nd place in our Pickle Ball League last week.

We could get into the story about the Pickle Ball tournament, but what I really want to write about today, is just how much I love my wife.

I love being together with her.

We are together a lot!

And I just love being with my wife.

We are together. It is just how we roll.

How does this fit in with being Intentional?

Colossians 3:12-14 NIV
