FUN FRIDAYS! – From the Circus to the Zoo

The Circus came to town about a month and half ago. It has most definitely been around much longer. It’s not like the Circus most people think of. It’s that kind of Circus that people often refer to when things aren’t right. This Circus is not a nice Circus. This Circus is led by the serpent and is pure evil. This Circus leads with fire and self centeredness is the root cause of the problem. The goal of this Circus is to TAKE.

THE KINGDOM OF GOD HAS COME NEAR YOU

How do we get away from the Circus of LIES? With the Zoo of LOVE.

Luke 10:19 KJV

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

John 3:16 NIV

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

This past week we sent our 3 kids to the Zoo to get away from the Circus. We handed our 21 year old our membership card and our credit card and told him, “Take your sister and your brother to the Zoo and you and your brother, JUST LOVE ON YOUR SISTER.” This is the first time that all our children took a trip together without their parents. The primary purpose of sending our recon-TEAM to the ZOO was JUST LOVE.

We did ask our 21 year old to keep an eye out for danger and look for signs of our Spiritual battle that is happening. In addition, I asked my 15 year old to make sure they took pictures. I never had a chance to tell the other kids to make sure pictures were taken

Here are the results of that miscommunication:

The 15 year old took pictures of monkey butts. We will spare you those pictures. (He did get some good shots of other animals) My oldest did collect evidence of our warriors at work. We are quite certain that he saw the Captain of the Brigade in guerrilla warfare, encouraging his soldiers with obscene gestures directed at the enemy. We are also most positive that we witnessed one of the 72 Line Officers praising God and doing business on our behalf.

While our soldiers do have some character defects they need to work on within themselves and with God, even in the depths of war, God grants favor as our Faith in Jesus ALWAYS allows us to keep Jesus and Love at the forefront of the mission

The Giraffe is Graceful.

The Giraffe is a gentle, peaceful animal whose strength is not symbolized by aggression, but rather by self-esteem and confidence.

The Serpent has posed a question. What is My End Game?

LOVE.
