As it turns out, the Kewl Monkey is our General on the Front Lines as we battle the evil forces of Satan. What is Kewl Monkey? Kewl Monkey is a character I designed with the help of my youngest son back in July 2024. Todays post is a Re-Post from 7/1/24 of the Original Kewl Monkey Post. The Kewl Monkey is a Character of Hope. The Family Unit is the story. To put it bluntly:
Our Family Unit is the Stronghold.
Our Family is unbreakable.
We stand together through everything.
We protect and lift each other up.
We show up – always.
We love fiercely and without end.
Without further ado, Here is Kewl Monkey:
The Kewl Monkey Story
Once upon a time, there was a grandmother named Nena. Nena had her family in town and was planning a trip to the zoo together. The plan was for everyone to go together to the zoo – her daughters, grandchildren, and extended family. However, on the day of the big event, Nena wasn’t feeling well due to her battle with leukemia. In the best interest of her own health and for a better experience for her family, Nena opted to stay back, regardless of how much she would miss being with them. In addition to missing her family, she would also miss seeing her favorite zoo animal, the marmoset monkey. Nena pledged that she would one day visit the zoo with all her family. Her friends and family rallied behind her as she battled her health challenges.
Finally, the day came when they could all be together, and they celebrated! They planned another trip to the zoo, but this time it was different. The zoo had heard about Nena’s story and made special arrangements for her visit. When Nena arrived with her family, they were greeted with a grand welcome. The zookeepers had set up a special area for Nena and her family to have a private tour.
As they walked through the zoo, Nena’s face lit up with joy, especially when they reached the marmoset monkey enclosure. The zookeepers had arranged a special interaction session with the marmosets. Nena was overjoyed as the tiny monkeys came close, playing and curiously inspecting her. It was a magical moment, not just for Nena, but for the entire family.
Then they brought out a special monkey just for Nena. First, the little monkey sat on Nena’s lap as she petted him. Then he even crawled up on her shoulder for a picture. Nena exclaimed in her Canadian accent, “What a Kewl Monkey!”
The day was filled with laughter and fun, love, and unforgettable memories. Nena’s determination and the support of her family had brought them all together for this special day. As the sun set and they prepared to leave, Nena looked around at her smiling family and felt a profound sense of gratitude and happiness. She had not only fulfilled her wish but had also created a lasting memory that her family would cherish forever.

The Kewl Monkey story is a story of hope. Just like hope, the Kewl Monkey can live forever. His job is never done. The Kewl Monkey’s mission is to bring hope to others through a zany name and a kewl logo. The Kewl Monkey generates hope and fun all at the same time. His mission?
