I want to give you my joy.

Pay attention! NOTICE! What I am about to share, is your everyday routine happening. You have to be Spiritually Awake to grasp my perspective!

Yesterday, I had to go to Home Depot Hardware. As I was headed into the store, a little boy approximately 4 years old and his mother where on their way out the door. The boy was well ahead of his mother and about to exit the doorway when I heard his mother call out, “Don’t go running out there without me!” The little boy stopped in the doorway and asked that famous question we all love. “Why?” His mother replied, “Because there are cars out there.” as she caught up to him. All I could do when I walked by the Mom, is look at her with a BIG smile on my face.

It gave me such joy.

It was just natural instinct. That’s what you do as a parent. I carried that smile through the rest of the store.

As I was exiting the store, it seems God had something else for me to notice. This time, it was a different child of similar age and his mother heading into the store. The little boy was skipping along, singing “LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA.” His mother was running right behind him encouraging his singing, with “Go, Go, Go.”

What joy this brought me in those moments.

My joy, was watching another parent love and care and protect their child. My joy, was found in knowing that those children had loving mother’s looking after them. My joy, was knowing that those two children were safe.

Do you see the WONDER in the eyes of Jesus?

Mathew 13:16

But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.

Mathew 13 is full of parables from Jesus. Jesus tells parables as one of His many methods for you to capture His Word.

My hope for you, on this FUN FRIDAY! is that these two quick stories give you the eyes, to see what God really wants you to notice.
