ARE YOU SAFE?

First and most importantly: ARE YOU SAFE? first person

Second redirect: ARE YOU SAFE? second person

The question is 2 fold:

ARE YOU SAFE? first person – Am I safe in my wellbeing, in my current circumstances?
ARE YOU SAFE? second person – Is the person or persons you are with, safe people?

This is the most important question you can ask yourself. Being safe is primal. It is a core foundation of our being. It is The Way to the Truth.

When we ask ourselves, ARE YOU SAFE?

First person and Second person Matters.

When we ask ourselves, “ARE YOU SAFE?” It means that we are listening to our body, mind and Spirit.

Physical

  • Am I physically safe where I am right now?
  • Is my body able to relax?
  • Do I feel safe from immediate harm or am I ignoring warning signs?

Your body knows when something is wrong before you do. Or The Body Keeps the Score.

Emotional

  • Can I express what I feel without being shamed, dismissed (subserviency) or punished?
  • Am I allowed to say No, pause, need time?
  • Do I feel heard or do I feel governed?

Emotional safety means you do not have to minimize yourself to belong. Fear silences, safety gives permission to be honest.

Spiritual

  • Does my faith feel like shelter or pressure?
  • Am I drawn toward God in LOVE, or am I riding away in FEAR.
  • Does Scripture bring you freedom or is it being used to control your conscience?

Spiritual safety, reflects the heart of Jesus. Jesus invited, never coerced, Jesus never pressured. Jesus protected the vulnerable, and confronted the misuse of power.

Your path to safety starts by listening to your body, removing yourself from controlling environments, and TRUSTING IN THE LOVE JESUS TO BRING YOU HOME.
