These are my musical instruments and amps. They are quite basic and beginner category. On the left is my 4 string electric bass guitar. It is an Ibanez EX Series. The smaller amp is a 10 Watt practice amp for the bass.

On the right is my Yamaha EG 112 electric Stratocaster guitar. I have a 30 Watt Marshall amp for the electric guitar.

I have not played the guitar in about 5 years. At one time I was self teaching and learning on my own. My son had a drum set and we would actually jam a bit. My son’s drum set is now at the church.

I am on the Praise Band at our church. My son is the drummer and I am learning how to play Bass. I have an online teacher I meet with monthly and we have band practice twice a month.

This has been a really great opportunity for me to FILL a broken childhood dream.

One would say: “This is a fun way to heal.”
