Prayer Trail 12-15-24

It’s definitely time for a Prayer Trail! It has been way too long once again and I need to do a better job at keeping up with the Prayer Trail of Hope!

Wayne – is still on our list of prayers. While we praise that Wayne is able to eat and keep it down, he is still battling the desire to eat. Weight gain is crucial for his recovery and that has not been happening. He had a doctors appointment this week to discuss having a feeding tube put in place. That will take place on the 23rd of this month. An additional concern has presented itself with fluid pocket formations internally. They are unable to address it at this time until Wayne is more stable in his weight gain.

Kevin – Kevin is my friend who witnessed the 4 year old boy Exodus we prayed for who fell out of the hay wagon ride and get rolled over by the wagon. This past week there was a shooting at his school, not too far from his class room outside. Kevin has been witness to some large emotional impactful events and I pray for him as he processes these events. Of course we pray also for the injured student in the incident.

Irene – We pray for our sister Irene who sits near us in church. She has been battling excessive swelling in her lower right (I believe it was right) leg. They have been unable to understand the exact source of the swelling. She landed in the hospital this week.

Stan and family – The family all had some sort of stomach bug this past week and Stan landed in the hospital for a minute. They are all on the mend but we pray for continued healing.

Jill – Jill is my sister in Christ who is nearing the end of her journey of life. She is in her 90’s. She has been bed ridden for quite some time and hospice has been in the picture for quite a while as well. Visitors are limited and so, I will just have to remember her the way I always knew her. A woman of CHEER and HEART. Jill used to call me and my wife on our birthdays and our wedding anniversary. She would sing you happy birthday over the phone. Some years she would leave a message with her warm wishes and singing. I wish I still had those messages. Other times I was lucky enough to answer the phone and talk to her. What a wonderful lady. She did this for many, if not as many as she could. She had her own phone ministry for our church. I pray for God’s comfort for her on the last leg of her journey. PEACE Jill Strader. We LOVE YOU.

Phil’s Personal Prayers

I pray that I do a better job of keeping connected with God. My writing is reflective of his presence. When I don’t post daily it could mean time constraints but sometimes it is mental block. When I am connected with God, my ability to write is much better. I pray for rhythm with my creator so I may better glorify Him as I spread the word and lift up my brother’s and sister’s in Christ.

Prayer for continued peaceful preparation for Christmas 2024.

Praying for 100% BIG DREAMS come true for my favorite blog and ministry. https://baremarriage.com/ code:*&%^#$!128000
