FUN FRIDAYS! – The Kewl Monkeys are Back!

My wife and I had the pleasure of traveling to Mexico a couple weeks ago. That is where we attended the FUNNEST WEDDING!

One of the Kewlest things that took place while we were there, was being observed by the monkeys. Yep, that’s right. They observed us. You sea? This is HOW IT WORKS: Every day around 5pm the humans come to the center of the resort and congregate. The Spider Monkeys then take the humans by surprise and show up by coming in from an unexpected direction. In our case, they came in from the North. Once they spotted us, they took to the roof of the building so they could better observe us. Then they cautiously proceeded to swing down towards us to show us.

I have a theory. The animals show us. In Genesis 1 we learn that we are given dominion over the animals. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on an asinus on what was considered the lowest of low animals. Most of us can understand the commentary, that Jesus rode in on an asinus to demonstrate His power in humility and weakness. The donkey being the weak visual. I take this idea deeper in connection to Genesis 1 and dominion of the animals.

Jesus didn’t dominate the asinus. He didn’t force it. He merely sat on it – and it carried Him. The asinus submits peacefully to its creator. THIS IS RESTORED ORDER.

Here are the monkeys:

Isn’t the baby monkey the cutest?

Job 12:5-10

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
    or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
    or let the fish in the sea inform you.
Which of all these does not know
    that the hand of the Lord has done this?
10 In his hand is the life of every creature
    and the breath of all mankind.

Creation Reflects Divine Wisdom.

HAVE A FUN FRIDAY EVERYONE!

This weekend take a look. What are the animals telling you. Is your house surrounded by crows and buzzards? Maybe it’s your dog. Maybe it’s your bunny. Maybe you just have fish. Maybe you need to go for a walk in nature and see a squirrel or a bird and let them tell you. Maybe you are lucky enough to live in Mexico with the monkeys!

Take a look! at how the animals show us!
